We are currently seeking both LGV Class 2 and 7.5t drivers.

As a Select Driver, you’ll represent our operations out on the road and face-to-face with our clients. Every collection and delivery is an opportunity to demonstrate our efficient, enthusiastic, safe and professional waste management services.

There’s more to it than being a good driver - you’ll support our Operations Depot with stock control, moving vehicles, keeping vehicles fuelled, clean ...and, like all Select Drivers, you’ll be a champion for road safety.

What are we looking for?

We need customer-focused Drivers we can depend on in order to ensure our customers receive the reliable, quality-led service they deserve. 

To succeed as a Driver you should be someone who can build relationships with colleagues to create a positive team spirit, and work together to make sure the services you deliver as a team runs as efficiently as possible.

You must hold:
• An LGV Class 2 license (if applying for this role)
• An 7.5t license (if applying for this role)
• CPC Qualified
• Digital Tachograph
• Experience in the waste management industry is desirable.

You must also be able to:
• Be warm and welcoming with customers and colleagues
• Have the energy and drive to be your best – and exceed expectations
• Share ideas with your Line Manager and colleagues on how we can improve our operations and services

And you must be someone who’ll make road safety an absolute priority, by:
• Always following our Quality, Environmental and Health & Safety procedures
• Completing all service paperwork
• Completing daily vehicle checks and continually assessing risks before carrying out operations
• Being responsible for keeping and submitting tachograph information

What is provided?

All uniform and PPE will be provided along with required training (compulsary, refresher and development).
