Chemicals in products like sunscreen, shampoos, and soaps can also cause environmental damages, especially when they are released on a large scale.

For large volumes of pharmaceutical waste and products for destruction, a dedicated Account Manager can visit your premises to assess the waste and provide the safest, compliant and cost-effective disposal solution. To protect you brand we can provide a Certificate of Destruction and/or a witnessed destruction service. All pharmaceutical waste is disposed of via incineration at a licensed treatment facility.

Our secure service is complimented by a range of stackable, one-trip security sealed containers suitable for solids, liquids and medicinal aerosols. For cytotoxic and cytostatic materials (classified as hazardous waste) we can provide specialist containers of between 1.8 and 22 litres in capacity. Each colour-coded with a purple top and appropriately labelled container, incorporating a patented Hydri absorbent mat that safely retains liquid residues.

Pharmaceutical waste in large quantities, we can provide either large lockable containers or collect directly from your site in box or pallet quantities.

controlled drug destruction kits

A controlled drug (or group of controlled drugs) must be fully denatured prior to recorded disposal. Select Environmental Services provides a range of competitively priced controlled drug destruction kits that effectively denature controlled drugs to Home Office approved standards. Our controlled destruction kits are available as a 250ml or 500ml pre-charged container. In addition to our medicinal controlled drug destruction kits, we can also provide larger units to deal with contraband and laboratory specimens. Once your controlled drugs have been denatured, we can arrange to securely transport them to a treatment facility for licensed disposal.
