There are many different types of disposal methods for the treatment of hazardous waste. At Select our first priority is to seek to use a recovery type of treatment method as this is more environmentally friendly than disposal via incineration, or hazardous landfill.
For certain hazardous waste streams the only treatment method is high temperature incineration. At Select we only use facilities that feature heat exchange systems which ensure that no energy is wasted.
All of the treatment and disposal facilities which we use are licensed and we regularly under take duty of care visits to ensure that their operating standards meet our expectations. |
